Garden Thursday

Hello and welcome to Garden Thursday.

Some new flowers this week. Roses and Siberian Iris's. The iris is something we think the squirrels planted for us. Mum never put any of these in.
The roses are climbers and are out by the back fence. Last night these were all just buds. Mum thought about cutting them and taking them to work. Glad she didn't, so we all can enjoy.
The pee-o-knees are still blooming and mum has been cutting a few off to take to work to enjoy. Some last week and again this week. The rain kinda beat them down, but there are still buds to open.
Next to the roses are the trumpet vines, but the oldest one hasn't gotten green this year. The other one is growing just fine. So mum manged to kill this one. This plant puts off lots of shoots so mum will need to find a new shoot and get it to grow where the deaded one is.

We have promises of flowers to come. The next few pics are from the day lilies that mum planted last summer. So they survived and are going to bloom. You can go back here to see all the work mum did getting them in the ground.

That is all for this week, hope you enjoyed the look around the garden.

Love, Virginger, Glimmer and Troooper.

  6. Beautiful flowers, beautiful garden! Even though some of us might complain about how much our mom spends in the garden, we enjoy seeing the fruits and flowers of her efforts! Is the Society of Feline Gardeners real? We're asking for our uber gardening mom.
