ManCat Monday

There are few things in life more heartwarming than to be welcomed by a cat. - Tay Hohoff

We got snow yesterday, not much and it didn't even start sticking to the street until late in the day. Here is a pic from the front windows as it was getting dark outside, 4 PM or so. Sort of pretty, so nice and clean.

OK, here are the three trees!

Grampie's little table top tree. Mum likes it cuz it doesn't take up much room, plus it reminds her of Grampie. Plus mum picked this out for him since he couldn't have a big tree in his little apartment. Grampie insisted in putting lights inside of it.
The sparkly tree, mum had pulled this out last Christmouse. She hadn't put it out in years as Derby wanted to chew on it all the time. I like to sit by it, but I don't chew on it. Mum has it by the back windows, then we get the reflection off the glass too.

The new spiral tree with beads. This too mum had out when Derby was here, then she had other trees so this one didn't come out for a while. Guess Derby liked to mess with this and knocked it over several times when mum first got it.

So here are some still pics of Derby from back then.

So what did I do with the tree? Not much. Whapped at the beads for a bit, but since this original try, I have left it alone. Mum might put another color of beads on it besides the red. She has white, silver and gold to choose from.

Feetsball Report

The Pack - They won, two in a row. It was a pretty game, well looking at it. Just a nice light snowfall during the game.

The Broncos - they beat the Jags.

Have a good week everyone.

  1. Such fun trees - all so different! We don't mess with the tree here either. When it's up, which isn't every year, and probably not this one.

  3. I love all your decorations. That was a good idea to put pearls on the spiral tree.

  4. How pawesome that you have not one but three trees! It is still warm here, so that snow looks like something impossible to comprehend for us. We hope it doesn't linger too long.

  6. A very disciplined approach to the trees Ducky - observant, curious but not naughty.

  8. We love all your trees, especially Grampie's!

We got a LOT more snow yesterday than they predicted! Guessing at least six inches here. Mom said the roads were pretty slick.

  9. Now nice! And you're a good boy for not playing with any of them. Our old bro William was such a tree terror that Mom just stopped bothering.

  10. We were supposed to get some of the white stuff, but it stayed farther north. Your trees are really cool...'specially the beaded one.

  11. Those all look like wonderful trees! Dragonheart tries to eat the bottom tree branches, but doesn't really succeed (as it is artificial).
